Many Sentinel North training opportunities available this fall

This fall, Sentinel North invites its Université Laval community to take part in a series of workshops and training activities aimed at addressing the complex themes of its research program, while promoting the development of transversal skills.These activities are open to all (students, professors, researchers, professionals).

Unless specified otherwise, all trainings and workshops below will be in French.

 


Research collaboration and intellectual property

This workshop aims to make researchers and research professionals aware of the pitfalls of research collaboration, information confidentiality and intellectual property.

For graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and professionals from all disciplines. This training is for anyone who needs to interact with external collaborators from the academic or private sectors.

This training aims to provide a solid foundation for anyone who wishes to communicate their research effectively. On the program : personalized advice, visual presentation, storytelling and stress management.

Sentinel North is launching seminars about open science in a connected world to discuss the traditional way research is conducted and how to engage in open science at all levels : data, analysis, dissemination and education.

November 7, 2019 : Research WITH indigenous communities : does it really work?

Workshops on interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific redaction, research project management, participatory science, and several experiential trainings (internationa PhD Schools, bootcamp) will be announced. Stay tuned!
